Sarah taught my daughter Devon in second grade. She was a FABULOUS teacher, and my daughter adored her. A teacher’s influence doesn’t end with the school year—but continues a lifetime. Thank you Sarah. May your family find comfort in her memory and legacy.

Bandi, Tammy, Grey and Greg....I am so sorry to hear about your mom. What a great time we had growing up together and all the laughs we shared! I still remember the day she pierced my ears for the first time in your kitchen! And all the funny stories she would share where we'd laugh so hard, we'd be crying! Like the day a man came to the house and when he asked your dog's name, your mom said "Clyde". She then went on a rant about how it was such a terrible name, how she didn't like it, etc. Only to find out then, after her tirade and when he finally introduced himself, his name was "Clyde" as well! Please take those memories and share them with others with a smile and a laugh. That's the way she would want us to remember her. My heartfelt sympathy to you all and please know, you will be in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Sarah and I shared so many wonderful times together! Our friendship was for 49 years in this world, and will last forever in heaven! We worshipped God together with our Gateway family and share groups. We jogged together for 15 years around the Gulf Breeze loop. Many times we prayed together for our children, grandchildren, and friends while jogging. We laughed and said " you don't have to close your eyes when you pray!" We ran a Blue Angel Marathon together! Through these years, Sarah and I shared many special family events and landmark moments! Sarah taught Mary, my daughter, in the second grade. Sarah was a great teacher and an outstanding Mother to her own children. Her children and grandchildren have excelled in their many endeavors, and Sarah was so proud of them. She always said she was most proud that they were "good people" Sarah was an excellent example of a truly good person, who followed the example of Jesus in her exceptional and beautiful life!
