Obituary

Elizabeth Erlene Manning “Tina” 9/18/1936-7/24/2017 Mrs. Tina Manning made her earthly transition into the open arms of Jesus on Monday, July 24, 2017. This woman of faith had a love for God and she looked forward to the day that He called her home. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Sam and Molly Lewis and Robert and Massie Bell. Her parents Lawrence and Ina Mae Bell. Two of her brothers Douglas Bell and Audrey Bell. Last but not least she will be united with her 8 ½ month old stillborn son, Keith Ryan Manning. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of nearly 58 years, Albert Manning. Her daughter Carmen Manning Robinson (Khris) and son Douglas Albert Manning. Two granddaughter’s, Deanna Williams (Billy) and Rachel Elizabeth Manning. Two step grandchildren, Andy Robinson (Amanda) and Bailey Robinson. Two step great grandchildren, Camden Williams and Aidan Robinson. Two brothers Buddy Bell (AnnieRuth) and Wayne Bell. She leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved as well. Lastly she leaves behind many, many dear friends, some lifelong and some she had been making the last 2 months of her life. She made friends and reached out to people very easily. She had a servant heart. In the most recent years she lovingly helped in the homeless ministry at their church, Gateway Church of Christ. In years past while her eyesight was still good she used to send get well cards to the people in their church in Fort Walton Bch. She loved to write and encourage people and she continued to do so until she could no longer see well enough. She also loved to cook, bake and share her food with others. Whether it be her family, a neighbor, a sick person that couldn’t get out. Everyone who knows this lady knew that she loved cooking and blessing people with her gift. The family would like to thank the staffs at West Florida Hospital (ICU and step down), as well as Sacred Heart hospital. (MedICU and Progressive care) She spent time in both the past two months. Also a special thanks to the loving staff of Covenant Hospice (inpatient at WFH). You all were blessings to our family. In lieu of flowers, we request donations to be made in her memory, to Escambia Christian School, 3311 W Moreno St, Pensacola, FL 32505 Phone : (850) 433-8476 There will be a visitation Thursday July 27, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Waters & Hibbert Funeral Home with services following at 12:00 noon. Carmen Robinson,

Momma, I miss you so much. My heart aches at some point in time, most every day. The void you left is huge. I'm journaling and going to a GriefShare group. I'm trying to get through these painful times, but I cannot on my own. God is seeing me through, leading the way. I call on Him frequently. I know that's what you would tell me to do. Dad and Lucy spent a long weekend with me, just left this am. It was great being with dad, but we sure miss you momma. I look forward to seeing you again momma. I think about it very often. All my love..........???Carmen ~ Carmen Robinson, Birmingham, Alabama

Tina was one of my closest and dearest friends. She and Al was like family and you never had to make special arrangements when they were dropping by to say hello, have a cup of coffee or play mexican train. We have so many wonderful memories of our times when we were both in the NC Mountains during the summers. They are so dear to Charlie and I. It was a blessing that I was able to be with Al and Carmen when she passed. Love her like my own sisters. She is my sister in Christ. Tina was not ashamed of her God and she shared it with all that knew her. I miss her everey day. Will stay in close contact with Al to help him through this very difficult times. ~ June Jones, Pensacola, Florida
