Obituary

Doris Reynolds Baynes April 11, 1929 – September 13, 2020

Doris was the seventh of eight children born to Dora (Morgan) and Jessie Reynolds; all of whom preceded her in death.

She graduated from Pensacola High in 1947 and received her Certificate of Dental Hygiene from the State of Alabama in 1958.

She married James Baynes on July 15, 1955. He preceded her in death after 53 wonderful years together.
She is survived by her son, Jay Baynes, daughter, Victoria Mullet (Will), grandsons, Taylor and Parker Baynes, along with many nieces and nephews; all of whom she said made her life full.

Her favorite scripture was Romans 11:33-36. She would often tell people to read it when life was difficult to understand. She believed God is in charge and to trust His will.

The family would like to extend sincerest gratitude for the compassionate care of Dr. John Sullivan and Carrie Cram of Emerald Coast Hospice.

Per her wishes before Covd-19, there will be no services.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Waterfront Rescue Mission.

WATERS & HIBBERT FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements.

Doris was sweet to our family when we lived in Lake Worth. Our family served the church where she worshipped. God bless her memory and her family.
