Obituary

Cynthia Ann Taylor, age 55, passed away July 19, 2017 at a local hospital in Pensacola, Florida.   She was born in San Jose, California.   As a member of a military family, she had the opportunity to also live in Hawaii and Maryland before finally settling in Pensacola, Florida.   Cindy attended Booker T. Washington High School and the University of West Florida, ultimately receiving a Masters of Science in Computer Science.   Working as a computer programmer in the healthcare industry, Cindy began her career at Eglin Air Force Base Hospital in Fort Walton, moved to a corporate position in Atlanta, and finally moved back to Pensacola for a position with HBO at Baptist Hospital.   Upon retirement, she chose to remain in Pensacola where she pursued her passion of caring for homeless animals.    Cindy will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.   She is survived by her brother and sister, Terry (Cindy) and Linda Taylor; nephew and niece, Steven (Kristin) and Laura Taylor; and fiancé and best friend, Larry Kruger.   Her parents, Clyde and Leona Taylor, preceded her in death.   A memorial service will be scheduled in the near future.     The family would like to thank Dr. Baker, Dr. Boden, and all the staff at Baptist Hospital that took such loving care of our sister and aunt.   Arrangements have been entrusted to Waters & Hibbert Funeral Home in Pensacola.
