Christina (Billing) Parrillo of Gulf Breeze, Florida entered into eternal life on June 20, 2020; she passed away at home surrounded by her loving family after a valiant battle with stomach cancer.

Christina graduated from Escambia Farms High School in 1961, obtained an Associate degree in Communications from Pensacola Junior College and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. Over the course of her career, Christina was a model, writer, stockbroker, realtor and ultimately retired as a probation officer from the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice in 2015.
She is survived by her daughters, Regina Balkom (Fillingim) and Virginia Campo; son-in-law Richard Campo; two step-children, Timothy Parrillo and Kimberly Schob; grandchildren, Taylor Balkom, Addison Morris (Brandon Morris), McKenna Balkom, and Christopher Campo; great-grandchildren, Ireland Raine Morris, Ella Grace Morris, and Killian James Balkom; siblings, Magdalene Barlar and Ty Tyler (Marissa Tyler) and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband(s) Donald Parrillo, John Henrik Billing, and Coy Lee Taylor; parents Estelle and Joe Strickand; and siblings, Bill Strickland and Syble Ann Jeffers.
Throughout her life Christina most enjoyed spending time at the beach, fishing, watching sunsets, participating in fitness, basketball, tennis, softball, modeling and traveling. She will be lovingly remembered for her devout faith in God, her witty sense of humor, love for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her generosity and tenacious spirit. She was always encouraging to others and found such joy in all things that glittered and shined whether a centerpiece, a gift box, or accessorizing an outfit with all its glamor and glitz.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 29th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, 100 Daniel Drive, Gulf Breeze, Florida. Visitors will be received at the church preceding the service at 10:30 a.m. A reception will follow at 1310 Maldonado Drive, Pensacola Beach, Florida. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital. Arrangements have been provided by Waters & Hibbert Funeral Home. A verse she leaves behind in our hearts is from John 14:27 “Peace I leave with you; … do let not your heart be troubled and do not be afraid.”
