Bar bara Louise Miller, 89, Beloved Mother, wife and daughter, passed away gently on Sunday in Tallahassee surrounded by loved ones. Barbara’s life was a full one. Early on, Barbara attended Pensacola Catholic High School where she met many lifelong friends and her first husband, Frank Grasso. She served as the captain of the Cheerleading squad and Frank was the quarterback. Her experiences at Catholic High School were held very close to her heart her entire life. She went on to work with Southern Bell Telephone just after WWII and also went on to own and operate Miller Travel Agency for many years, serving Pensacola travelers. Raising her 5 children was an accomplishment she held as her most precious, often praising her children above all. After the passing of her husband , Bill, , she relocated to Tallahassee for her final years , comforted by the family of her beloved son, Eric and his family, who resided close to her.   Barbara is preceded in death by her Mother, Beatrice Murray, her bothers Joel and Patrick, and her spouses, Frank Grasso and Bill Miller.   She is survived by her daughter, Rosalia Ann Grasso Mason of Acworth, GA., Frank Rosario Grasso of Bellingham, WA., Christopher Lawrence Miller of Houston, TX., Eric William Miller of Tallahassee, Mark Patrick Miller of McDonough, GA., 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.   Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct 11th from 5-7:00 p.m. followed by a Rosary vigil at 6:30 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday at the Basilica of St. Michael the Archangel with Very Reverend Joseph Callipare Celebrant. The interment at Barrancas National Cemetery. WATERS & HIBBERT FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements.
